Ciate - Limited Edition Jubilee Caviar Manicure

A Very British Manicure

I've seen these Caviar Manicures before and they intrigue me, I came across this one a few days ago and I thought it was very fitting to go with the Jubilee weekend.

Simply paint on a bottom coat of Ciate white, then apply the caviar pearls on top...all being well it should look like the girl in the picture (I don't suggest you apply nail polish to your lips though!)

This Limited edition kit is available exclusively from Selfridges priced £18 for both bottles

Will you be theming your beauty this weekend?

  1. Ahh, I have been on the look-out for Jubilee-themed makeup but had so far drawn a blank, this looks really cool. I wonder what it would feel like on your nails, it's a really unusual concept!
Are you doing anything for the Jubilee?

    1. I'm not sure how practical it would be, I guess I looks good for photo shoots and special occasions.

Sadly there was no Jubilee celebrations here in Malta, I've been enjoying everyones facebook and twitter pics thou. xx

  2. My sister loves the caviar nails but refuses to pay that kind of money so went on ebay and bought loads of different coloured tiny tiny beads for 99p! And gets the exact same results!!

I've just done my own Jubilee inspired nails too!

  3. Wow that's quite expensive for the little beads isn't it? I'd rather buy two bottles of polish lol x :-)

    1. Yeh it is. Ciate have actually trade marked "Caviar manicure". There are lots of alternatives though, I'm doing a post soon about it. xx

  4. I've seen these before, but I have to admit that I really don't care for 'caviar nails'. They're just not my thing. (Plus, I'd probably mess them up quickly and have little beads everywhere, LOL!)
