MAC lipstick Hue

In my previous MAC haul video one of the items I got was this MAC lipstick in the colour "Hue".

Hue is a dusty pink "glaze" as MAC describes it but, but i would say it's more on the matte side than "glaze" however not completely matte and gives a lovely soft and moisturised look the lips.

This shade is great for everyday wear and will look great in the summer to give pale people like me the "english rose" look.

I bought this lipstick from a MAC counter in the UK priced £13.50 

On a side note - I've just noticed MAC lipsticks have went up to £14!! When did this happen? I have been living under a rock for a few months so it might not be new news! I know it's only 50p...but soon it will be £14.50 then £15! What is the world coming too....

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine - 54 Boy

While out shopping last week I decided to treat myself to a Chanel lipstick, I have a ton of lipsticks but not any Chanel, so I wanted to add one to my collection. I visited Franks here in Malta, but to be honest they didn't have a great selection, but amongst what they had I found the perfect lipstick - Rouge Coco Shine in shade 54 Boy.

Colour:

Shade 54 is a lovely a pinky coral colour which it pretty neutral and perfect for everyday where. It's not overly pigmented but does give lovely sheer colour, 

Formula:

As the name suggests it's a shine lipstick, but not glittery. The lipstick just seems to glide onto the lips, I really do love this formula, I find it to be very moisturising.

Packaging:

There is something about Chanel packaging I love, it's timeless and classic like the brand itself. It comes in a black plastic case with gold metal and a with logo printed on the lid.

Price: To be honest I'm not sure how much I actually paid for this, I was little distracted at the till but it was somewhere in the region of €20-€30, but I had a quick look online and it's around £18 in the UK 

Overall I'm in love with this lipstick, and my new favourite at the moment and I'm keeping in my handbag so I can use it everyday. If you're looking to invest in a high end lipstick, I would definitely suggest this product as it ticks all the boxes!
