While monthly subscription beauty boxes aren't something new and some people are "over" what some say is a fad, I still love getting my box/s each month I really do. Some boxes are good, some could be better but over the years the amount of the products I've tired and loved - it's been worth it. Also for me, I travel 4- 5 times a year and the sample sizes are super handy for taking with me.
So back to the Birchbox. My May box was my first ever box and I really liked it. Sometimes you get a box and think "how did you know I needed all these items?" well this was how I reacted when I got this box. So let me tell you what was inside:

While I'm currently using(and loving) everything in the box, one of my favourite parts has to be the in-box magazine. I think it's very well written and love how it gives you ideas on how to use your products as well other beauty tips and stories. I really enjoyed reading it while opening up and sniffing and swatching everything inside.
If you are looking for a change from your current beauty box, or looking for one to subscribe to - I would recommend Birchbox as it's excellent value for money and something you will enjoy each month.
